This isn’t a joke. Day 1 on Keto looks different than ANY other day on the program.
Have you ever heard of the phrase “Start as you mean to go”?
A friend of ours uses it in everything she does – teaching, business, eating, living.
Start as you mean to go.
Day 1 determines how you will do throughout the rest of your journey on Keto. The things you did to prepare for this day and the rest of them have more to do with mindset than with what you bought.
When you’re ready, you can join us and get your own Keto Journey Blueprint, but until then you need to figure out what your goals and motivations are.
Why exactly are you interested in keto? Is it because you’ve seen a lot of people with weight loss?
Yeah, that’s a HUGE reason to start. It’s a great reason.
But what happens when you hit your goal? Do you go back to eating the way you were eating before Day 1?
Do you then go back to weighing what you weighed before Day 1?
Or do you have a plan in place?
Start as you mean to go.
Day 1 has a very distinct feel that you won’t feel the rest of your journey – even if you go off keto and then go back on it.
This day is full of possibilities, opportunity, unknown. This day is full of motivation, determination, and belief in yourself that you can do it.
There really isn’t a craving today, or even any major temptations because your well of determination is full and your determination hasn’t hit “hangry”.
No, today, is fresh, and possible and full of hope.
Enjoy today. Take advantage of it. Smile as you turn down those pancakes and reach for the fat bombs or the steamers. Really let yourself enjoy this day because after this? All the challenges begin.
You’ll wake up on Day 1 and you’ll remember that you have a plan and a goal. You’re going to hit every meal with a plan and something in mind. You’ve been prepped and there are no struggles.
Today… it’s easy. You’ll never have another day like today.
I’m so jealous that you get to have Day 1. It’s a day I’ll never get to see again. Go you! Take a picture this day and let yourself keep it as part of your motivation.
